June 2004 marked the tenth anniversary of the Salamanca Statement which argues that regular schools with an inclusive orientation are ‘the most effective means of combating discriminatory attitudes, building an inclusive society and achieving education for all'. EENET has collaborated with UNESCO to create a special edition of the EENET newsletter for 2004. A selection of articles was gathered which reflect issues and progress since Salamanca in 1994. You can view these articles online (see the list below).
But, we would like more articles on this issue!
Please contact EENET if you have written (or would like to write) an articles which focuses on: ‘What have we learned about developing inclusive practices in communities and schools since (and/or as a result of) Salamanca?'
We look forward to hearing from you!
