Individual model:

1. I cannot get a job because I use a wheelchair which prevents me from using public transportation to go to work.

2. I cannot go to school because I have cerebral palsy and I do not speak clearly.

3. I cannot join into social outings, like weddings, because I have Down Syndrome which is believed to bring bad luck to the newly weds.

Social model:

1. I cannot get a job because the inaccessible public transportation system prevents me from getting there.

2. I cannot go to school because the teachers use a rigid education system which does not allow for people with differences.

3. I cannot join into social outings, like weddings, because of people's prejudices and traditional beliefs that I bring bad luck.
