About EENET

How can you join in EENET’s activities?

Subscribe to the newsletter

The newsletter is available free in printed format to people in countries of the South. People in Northern countries can receive a free electronic version via email. We also have limited quantities of audio cassette and Braille newsletters. To subscribe to the newsletter, please contact EENET and tell us your name, organisation, your full contact details (postal address, email address, telephone, fax, etc) and if possible tell us a bit about yourself and your work. You will then be added to our mailing list. People on our mailing list may also receive other inclusive education documents, as and when they are available. You can read all of our newsletters on this website.

Write an article for the newsletter or website

We are always looking for new inclusive education articles to publish. We particularly want to receive more articles from education practitioners/teachers, parents, young people and local organisations involved in education. If you are interested in writing an article about your experiences of inclusive education, please read our guidelines for authors. If you would like any advice or support with writing or editing your article, we are happy to help. Please contact us at any time.

Contact one of the national/regional networks

Inclusive education information-sharing network are gradually evolving in Africa, Asia and Latin America. They are doing various networking activities, e.g. publishing newsletters, running websites, holding meetings and seminars, and running local advocacy campaigns. Click here to find out if there is a network in your region. If there is, please do get in touch with them and help them to share more information with more people. If there isn’t a network near you, could you help to start one or run one? If so, please contact us.

Tell other people about EENET

Please help us to find more people who can join the network and share information and ideas about how to make education more inclusive for all learners. We can send you leaflets and posters which you can use to help publicise EENET’s work. Please contact us to request copies.

Help us to translate more information into other languages

We really want to offer inclusive education information in as many languages as possible. But we have limited funds. So we need people to volunteer to translate documents. If you or your organisation could help with translations, please contact us. We have created a poster to raise awareness of the need for more translations. Click here to download an A4 version in PDF format (793k), or ask us to send you a printed copy to display.

Support EENET financially

EENET is run on a very small annual budget. As a result, EENET currently has only one part-time paid employee. With more funding we could do so much more work, and have an even greater impact on the development of inclusive education policy and practice in the South. If your organisation could help support EENET’s work, please contact us.
